ELILO after update current kernel
by sbabaro1 from LinuxQuestions.org on (#6F8P6)
Hi all
again in trouble!!!!
I've installed last month on my new Dell XPS15 Slackware: due to the driver of the Intel/NVIDIA combination I was obliged to use current
I've started installing the LIVESLAK, installing the Nvidia driver from SBo
Today I've upgraded the packages with slackpkg+ (did an "upgrade-all")
Also the kernel was updated, so I have compiled again the Nvidia kernel package with the option KERNEL=6.1.55 with sbopkg, run eliloconfig, eliminated the previous menu entry (SIGH!) e created the new one: now I cannot access the system anymore
I've tried to enter in chroot using again the liveslack installation: once in, I've executed geninitrd and restarted, but again elilo stuck at the beginning.
I'm missing something.....
