Skydiver found dead in Florida yard after apparent parachuting accident

A skydiver was found dead in the yard of a Florida home after an apparent accident while parachuting, local police said.

Frederick C Morello, 69, was discovered outfitted in parachute attire and gear on the lawn of a house in Titusville in the center of the state near Cape Canaveral at about 12.30pm on Saturday. Morello was pronounced deceased at the scene. This remains an ongoing investigation," police said in a statement.
