Report: T.J. Watt tore ligaments in finger, not expected to miss time

Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker T.J. Watt dislocated a finger and tore multiple ligaments in his hand during Sunday's win over the Baltimore Ravens, sources told NFL Network's Tom Pelissero and Ian Rapoport.

Watt continued to play after popping the dislocation back into place and isn't expected to miss time, per Pelissero and Rapoport.

However, Watt may need to undergo offseason hand surgery depending on how it heals during the campaign, according to Rapoport.

The former Defensive Player of the Year currently has 15 tackles, a league-high eight sacks, seven tackles for loss, two forced fumbles, 15 quarterback hits, and four passes defensed this season.

The Steelers have their bye this week. Pittsburgh will take to the field Oct. 22 when the team heads to Los Angeles to face the Rams.
