An ankle injury has hindered Odell Beckham Jr.'s first season with the Baltimore Ravens, and the wide receiver opened up about the difficulties of dealing with another ailment so soon after making his return from a torn ACL.

"It's been tough. I've worked my ass off for a long time since (suffering a torn ACL in) that Super Bowl," said Beckham on Thursday, according to Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic. "Just to have a small, small setback that you never saw coming, it's just unfortunate."

Beckham sat out all of the 2022 season with the major knee injury he suffered while a member of the Los Angeles Rams. He exited the Ravens' Week 2 win over the Cincinnati Bengals after hurting his ankle.

While the injury was deemed not to be serious, the veteran pass-catcher missed two games before returning for last week's loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The 30-year-old struggled to make an impact versus Pittsburgh, catching just two passes for 13 yards to take his season tally to seven catches for 79 yards and zero touchdowns.

The Ravens are in London to face off with the Tennessee Titans in Week 6, and Beckham hopes to begin living up to the one-year, $15-million deal he signed in free agency.

"How can I get back on track? I would absolutely love that to start Sunday," he said.
