Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb said he and quarterback Dak Prescott recently discussed his frustrations on the sideline during the team's 42-10 loss to the San Francisco 49ers in Week 5.

"He (Prescott) came up to me, he's like, 'If you have a problem with anything, just come up to me and we'll talk about it. I don't care how it necessarily looks in the media, right,'" Lamb said, according to Todd Archer of ESPN.

"But the media is going to do what the media does anyway. If I stand by myself, it's a problem. If I go talk to him and I flare my hands a little bit, it's a problem. Right? At the end of the day, it's just getting down to the nitty-gritty, getting everything understood and both parts being on the same page."

Lamb appeared distraught on the sidelines multiple times during last Sunday night's game, including while away from his teammates.

The Oklahoma product finished the contest with a team-leading four catches for 49 yards. Lamb has failed to eclipse 55 receiving yards in three straight games.

The Cowboys' offense struggled all night, totaling only 197 yards and eight first downs. Prescott was intercepted three times and completed 14 passes for 153 yards.

"Me as a competitor, man, I like to win," Lamb said. "First and foremost. I don't care how that looks. I am an ultimate competitor."

Head coach Mike McCarthy said he talked with Lamb on Monday and wants to get him more touches on offense.

"I'll just say that if he's not pissed off that he's not getting the ball, then I'm pissed off that he's not pissed off," McCarthy said, per Archer. "He's an impact player, he should feel that way."

The Cowboys will look to bounce back on Monday Night Football against the Los Angeles Chargers.
