Hi there, from Slackware64 14.2 i am trying to find out which are the minimal packages needs installed on system to make a working minimal installation of Slackware

i need basically : System Base + Internet access

Trying for the begining, my first try was selecting just the packages marked on installation with tag "REQUIRED" (you can see if use "menu" option when you pick packages)

Well but some things call my attetion like :
Quote:
linux-generic or linux-huge, are not tagged like required
glibc, is not tagged like required
grub and/or lilo, are not tagged like requiered
mkinitrd, is not tagged like required
dhcp, net-tools, openresolv, network-manager, network-scripts, are not tagged like requiered none of them.

Well the thing was when i boot (using lilo + linux-huge) the fist fail i notice was before the exit the setup slackware program with the follow error :

Quote:
passwd: Authentication token manipulation error
passwd: password unchanged.
The another thing i notice when i try to boot from lilo the linux-huge kernel

The follow things does not exist :
Quote:
/proc/mounts
/proc/modules
/proc/filesystem
/sbin/adjtimex (util-linux package)
/sbin/mount (dunno : this just a symbolic link or just a script?)
/sbin/fsck (util-linux package)
/sbin/ldconfig (glibc package)
Because of that the "root" file-system is read-only and uncapable to create the directories

Quote:
/run/lvm
/run/lock/lvm
Well, which package are need for "/proc" can be create properly?
from which package came the program "/sbin/mount"?
