Cleveland Browns running back Jerome Ford is expected to miss one-to-two weeks with a low-grade high ankle sprain, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Ford exited Sunday's win over the Indianapolis Colts with the ailment.

The 23-year-old has operated as the Browns' top runner since Nick Chubb suffered a season-ending knee injury in Week 2. He's posted 344 rushing yards, 104 receiving yards, and four total touchdowns this season.

Kareem Hunt reunited with the team following Chubb's injury. The 28-year-old tailback has 149 scrimmage yards and three touchdowns in four games this year.

The club also has running backs Deon Jackson and Pierre Strong Jr. on its active roster.

Cleveland's next two games are a road matchup against the Seattle Seahawks and a home contest with the Arizona Cardinals.
