Hey guys still using 16.04 LTS *buntu mate in 2023 but I have a new kernel and new programs installed on it should I upgrade my OS ?

I am using a new bleeding edge kernel Code: root@tuxthegreat:~# uname -a
Linux tuxthegreat 6.5.8-x64v1-xanmod1 #0~20231020.ga323bd9 SMP PREEMPT_DYNAMIC Fri Oct 20 07:27:29 UTC x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/LinuxA new Firefox ver 119.0 (64bit) with new transmission-daemon ver 4.something, I would have to check, a new mono install so I can use apps like BDInfo.exe with mono BDInfo.exe and I get a fresh new interface for BDInfo. I have the old version of Deluge ver 1.3.15 libtorrent 1.0.11.0, I'd like to install the new version of Deluge but I can't find the PPA repo which hosts it, maybe you guys can point me in the right direction ? For all other programs I use a Windows 10 desktop and a Macbook Pro M2 for movie encoding using handbrake, can be cpu intensive. I am the kind of older guy who goes by the moto; if it ain't broke, don't fix it, and that's why I have been on 16.04 LTS for such a long time, I like the Kodi interface for it and the new Kodi in *buntu mate 22.04.3 LTS is ugly and unappealing to me. I make daily backups of my kodi Code:24 2 * * * tar -czf /home/tuxthegreat/kodi-backup.tar.gz ~/.kodi >/dev/null 2>&1 and the backup has grown to 4GBs in size!, That,s a lot of movies guys! Anyway I am going to stop rambling and ask again , do i really need to upgrade my distro since I am already using the newest ver of programs that I use daily
