The Washington Commanders are receiving trade interest for pass-rushers Chase Young and Montez Sweat ahead of Tuesday's deadline, sources told Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.

The Atlanta Falcons have made an offer of a third-round pick for Sweat, a source told Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk.

Washington could either look to sell off some of its top assets or push for a playoff spot depending on the result of Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

The Commanders enter Week 8 with a 3-4 record.

If the NFC East club does engage in trades, it isn't expected to keep both Young and Sweat, adds Schefter. Both players are set to hit free agency in 2024.

Washington has also reportedly received trade inquiries regarding defensive end Jonathan Allen and defensive back Kendall Fuller. However, the Commanders won't listen to offers for Allen despite the veteran's public outburst following last week's loss to the New York Giants.

Young - the 2020 No. 2 pick - and Sweat are both in the midst of strong seasons. The former has five sacks this year after missing nearly all of the 2022 campaign and half of the 2021 season, while the latter is on pace for a career year after racking up 5.5 quarterback takedowns and 27 total tackles.
