Steam / X3:AP/FL and Sound issues / PSU problems, i think...

Greetings.

I'm fairly new to this Linux, and i'm trying to learn. Been a Windows gamer for decades, so there are many bad habits to break.

But i am a gamer, first and foremost. So with that in mind...

I enjoy chilling to some X3:AP and FL. A game i run through Steam. (Launches a launcher for the game. I'll get back to that.)

I have some issues, but only one related to X3. Sound...

I reinstall Tumbleweed, and everything is honkeydoorey. It can run anything from a day, to 4 days. But eventually, the sound goes bu-bye. And i can't get it to come back?
When does this happen? It took me several reinstalls to figure this out, but apparently, when you minimize the game, which is often required in this game, for complex calculators, and general information gathering. I've been running Chrome Unstable as my browser, so i can't say how much influence that has had on the issue.

And having to reinstall every other day, to solve this issue, is hardly a long term solution? So i'm hoping someone can assist me, in finding a fix for this issue?

----------------

Problem 2, is with the game EVE. I runs fine for a while. 2-5, on occation 10 minutes. And then it freezes. - The thing about EVE, and X3, is that they BOTH launches through steam, but also through an independent launcher?
Other games, that launches directly through steam, has zero problems, and frankly... They tend to run more smoothly than anything i've seen Windows do...

But this might be related to my last issue.

------------------

Problem 3, is with my monitor in generel.
It "blacks out" for a few seconds, every once in a while. And it took me a LONG time, to figure this one out. I'm convinced now, almost at least, that it's a hardware problem.
When ever i get a "notification" on, lets say steam, it blacks out. Or a notification from another app, or some such. Not 100% of the time, but most of the time.
At first i thought it was random, but i don't think so any more...

Thing is... It also did it, when i was running windows, except far less frequently...

I'm on a HP Omen, i bought used. It was a year old at the time. It has a 3080ti GPU, and i upped the memory from 16, to 32 gigs. And i tossed a 4tb SSD in it...

So, i've started to think, maybe... Just MAYBE... This HP PSU it was "born" with, just isn't big enough anymore ?
It's a 800W PSU, and 5 years ago, i would've killed for one this big... But is it still the case ? I would think, the reason my GPU/Monitor keeps blacking out, is because of a power shortage momentarily, when something "dings"...

But i dunno... I'm speculating... I'm neither a coder, nor a hardware engineer. So what do i know, right?

But any and all suggestions, and help - Well, keep in mind i'm an utter newb, so please keep it simple...

Thanks !!!
