Joe Burrow is believed to have suffered a sprained right wrist in Thursday's 34-20 blowout loss to the Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals head coach Zac Taylor said postgame, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

The Bengals quarterback clutched his right hand following a short touchdown throw to Joe Mixon in the second quarter. He was then brought into the medical tent before being taken to the locker room after being unable to throw a football on the sidelines.

Burrow watched the second half of the game from the sideline. He threw for 101 yards with one touchdown before the injury.

Jake Browning came into the game in relief of Burrow and finished with eight completions on 14 attempts for 68 yards with one touchdown and no interceptions. The 27-year-old had thrown one career pass entering Thursday.

Burrow's wrist made headlines even prior to Thursday's matchup when the team shared a video Wednesday that showed the quarterback wearing a brace on his throwing hand. The Bengals later deleted the post.

Lots of talk about a deleted #Bengals post, which showed Joe Burrow wearing some type of brace or sleeve on his right wrist.

However, Taylor said it was the first he'd seen anything about it when asked about the social media video of Burrow, according to NFL Network's Andrew Siciliano.

The head coach also mentioned that he was unaware of any injury issues surrounding his quarterback coming into Thursday's game, per ESPN's Ben Baby.

Burrow was not listed on the injury report heading into the prime-time contest against the Ravens. The former first overall pick has not appeared on a Bengals injury report since dealing with a calf injury earlier in the season.

The loss to the Ravens drops the Bengals to 5-5 on the campaign. Cincinnati has now lost two in a row and hosts the Pittsburgh Steelers next.
