Seahawks' Walker sustains oblique injury vs. Rams
The Seattle Seahawks saw top running back Kenneth Walker go down with an oblique injury early in Sunday's 17-16 loss to the Los Angeles Rams.
Walker was sidelined after five touches, which included four carries for 18 yards. He left the game minutes after a rushing attempt in the first quarter and was listed as doubtful to return.

Head coach Pete Carroll described Walker's injury as an "oblique strain that was legit," according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Walker is in danger of missing time and could be unavailable for Seattle's Thanksgiving Day matchup against the San Francisco 49ers.
The Michigan State product entered Week 11 as Seattle's No. 1 rusher. He racked up 595 yards (4.1 per attempt) and six scores on the ground through this season's first nine games.
The second-round pick in 2022 put on a show as a rookie, rushing for 1,050 yards (4.6 per carry) and nine touchdowns in 15 appearances.
Rookie Zach Charbonnet carried the load at running back for Seattle with Walker out. The UCLA product, whom the Seahawks drafted in the second round in April, finished with 15 carries for 47 yards. He also caught six passes for 22 yards.
