Tim Boyle will be the New York Jets' starting quarterback against the Miami Dolphins on Friday, the team confirmed on Monday.
Boyle replaces the benched Zach Wilson, who took over as the starter when Aaron Rodgers suffered a torn achilles four snaps into his debut with New York in their season opener. New York Jets head coach Robert Saleh said on Monday that Wilson will be the No 3 quarterback on the roster against the Dolphins, with Trevor Siemian as Boyle's backup.
