Bluetooth headset audio profile doesn't persist in Linux Mint
by deneder from LinuxQuestions.org on (#6GJ8A)
Hello everyone,
I have a JBL510BT bluetooth headset which I oftenly use for voice calls. The headset connects to my device with no hassle. But everytime I disconnect and reconnect it, its bluetooth audio profile defaults to 'A2DP'. So, to use the headset's microphone, I have to set the audio profile to 'HFP' every time I connect the headset to my device.
But I feel like there should be some way to make this setting persist. I just couldn't find anything about it online. Though I think I probably didn't search with the right keywords :)
I am using Linux Mint, and blueman-manager by the way.
Thanks in advance. Any help is appreciated. :)
