PS/2 mouse not working with latest 15.0 kernel
by bryan1024 from LinuxQuestions.org on (#6GKFY)
I'm using Slackware 15.0 on my x86_64 machine.
With the latest update to kernel 5.15.139, my PS/2 mouse no longer works. I see that recent kernels in this series have been messing around with PS/2 support, but I don't know enough to make heads or tails of it.
dmesg output includes the following:
"i8042: PNP: PS/2 Controller [PNP0303:PS2K,PNP0f03:PS2M] at 0x60,0x64 irq 1,12"
"mousedev: PS/2 mouse device common for all mice"
"psmouse serio1: Failed to enable mouse on isa0060/serio1"
The psmouse module loads without error.
Any ideas?
