My New Favourite Bit of Linux...

I installed a mod organiser for my games on Linux and it kindly deleted my saves. It's a new machine and it was a fresh play through so it's no great deal - I have zillions of saves I can resort to saved safely. However, although I was pretty sure they were gone my husband suggested I used 'find' to make sure. It's brilliant. You can add an extension and a time scale and it goes through your files like a ferret down a drain...

It's now (for the moment) my absolute favourite bit of Linux... I'm just curious about what other goodies might be in store... So has anyone else got a bit of Linux that really impresses them?
