Non existent storage shown on gnome-disk-utility when USB printer plugged in

When my USB printer is plugged to my PC, gnome-disk-utility shows this printer as a storage media.

However if I click the settings wheel, the only option I get is "Edit Mount Options". There is no option to format this non-existent storage. Furthermore there is no visible storage on the printer itself. No SD-card slot or USB socket that would allow to plug an external USB thumb drive.

Does anyone know what this ghost storage is?
