Cleveland Browns quarterback Joe Flacco will start Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Rams, the team said Friday, according to Cleveland.com's Mary Kay Cabot.

Flacco joined the Browns' practice squad Nov. 20 after Deshaun Watson was ruled out for the remainder of the season. He wasn't elevated for the club's 29-12 loss to the Denver Broncos in Week 12.

The 38-year-old's last game action came in Week 18 of last season with the New York Jets, where he completed 18 of 33 passes for 149 yards without any touchdowns or interceptions.

Flacco will be the fourth quarterback to start a game for the Browns this season. He'll join Watson, rookie Dorian Thompson-Robinson, and P.J. Walker.

The Delaware product owns 42,320 career passing yards, 232 touchdown passes, and 147 interceptions in 183 games with the Baltimore Ravens, Denver Broncos, and Jets.

Thompson-Robinson, who started the club's last two games, was ruled out for the game against the Rams because of a concussion. Cleveland also ruled out cornerback Denzel Ward (shoulder) and wide receiver Marquise Goodwin (concussion).

The team did get some good health news Friday as defensive end Myles Garrett was a full participant and doesn't carry an injury designation into Sunday. He didn't participate in the first two practices this week due to rest and a shoulder injury sustained against the Broncos.
