rsync no longer working to download updates
by Gordie from LinuxQuestions.org on (#6GVFQ)
bash-5.2$ sudo su
bash-5.2# ./rsync_current.sh
Syncing version 'current' ...
rsync: [Receiver] failed to connect to slackware.mirrors.tds.net (204.246.0.134): No route to host (113)
rsync error: error in socket IO (code 10) at clientserver.c(139) [Receiver=3.2.7]
bash-5.2#
I have been getting this since Nov 18 and there is no way for me to download and apply Slackware updates until I get this fixed.
My mental state took a nosedive about two months ago. Parkinson's Disease is taking its toll. Sometimes the simplest thing takes me at least three days of staring at the computer screen before the lights come on. Well, right now the lights are on but there is nobody home.
Ideas anyone?
