Zach Ertz asked for his release from the Arizona Cardinals to sign with a contender, and it appears he'll get his wish.

The Kansas City Chiefs, Buffalo Bills, Baltimore Ravens, and Philadelphia Eagles are interested in the veteran free agent, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Ertz is free to sign wherever he wishes after clearing waivers.

After producing 406 yards and four touchdowns in 10 games last season, Ertz was supplanted by Trey McBride as Arizona's top tight end. Ertz has 27 receptions for 187 yards and a score in seven games in 2023.

The 8-3 Chiefs, 9-3 Ravens, and 10-1 Eagles are all but certain to play in the postseason, while the 6-6 Bills are in the hunt for an AFC wild-card spot.

The Bills and Ravens require help at tight end due to long-term injuries to Dawson Knox and Mark Andrews, respectively.

The Eagles, Ertz's former team, have been without Dallas Goedert due to an arm injury, though he appears close to a return. Meanwhile, the Chiefs need more experienced weapons amid an inconsistent season for their pass-catching group.
