[FF] Disable hiding of scroll bars
by gregors from LinuxQuestions.org on (#6GW26)
Hi there!
Recently Firefox started to 'auto hide' the scrollbar after not having moved the pointer for some seconds.
I really (really!) dislike this 'feature' since the scrollbar shows information that is essential for me while reading a text -- e.g. I can guess how long it will take me to read the rest of a document or how many of a document is shown in the browser window related to the whole thing -- without being forced to touch the screen or move the mouse.
It seems that this feature can't be switched off (so that the scrollbar is visible all the time).
Did I overlook something?
TIA
Gregor
