BMA announces strikes on 20-23 December and 3-9 January after breakdown of talks with government
The NHS will struggle to care for patients quickly when junior doctors in England stage the longest strike in the service's history this winter, hospital bosses said after pay talks collapsed on Tuesday.
They voiced their fears after the British Medical Association (BMA) announced that tens of thousands of junior doctors would walk out for three days later this month and another six days in January, just as the NHS is under intense strain.
