28-year-old in custody after armed officers attend scene, victim in hospital with non-life-threatening injuries
A 28-year-old man has been arrested by armed police officers after a woman, who is believed to be pregnant, was stabbed in the street in the village of Aberfan in south Wales.
The attack led to armed officers combing Aberfan and nearby villages in search of the suspect while local schools and a childcare centre were put into lockdown.
