convert lunix pxe machine to local disk
by aymeen1 from LinuxQuestions.org on (#6HH5F)
hello,
I have a server computer equipped with DHCP and TFTP servers. These servers are responsible for transmitting files such as the "kernal-2.6.9" kernel, the 'ramdisk.gz' file, and a software package called "SEFCS" to a diskless client computer. This client computer has a BIOS configured to initiate Linux booting using boot agent 2.44. I am seeking guidance on transitioning the client computer to execute the entire process directly from a local disk. Could you please provide a detailed process for achieving this transition?
note: at the end of the procees a comment show that the software run by using linux-2.6.9 +busybox 1.0 + dropbear 0.50
thank you
Aymen
