But it seems as if the pair is finally going to get a shot at making that dream a reality, all while potentially launching an entirely new series of movies.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Garland and Boyle are reuniting for 28 Years Later, a new film set in a (presumably) ruined world that's been ravaged by a strange virus responsible for turning people into rage-filled, fast-running zombie-like beings.
