Entire Drive Read Only SSD

While working today, my mouse froze, everything else still worked. I simply used my keyboard to navigate over and reboot the system. Didn't think anything of it, as there is an occasional glitch with KDE and a reboot fixes it. However, today, after the reboot, my main hard drive, an SSD is now in read only and all of my home directory is read only even though it there are -rw- permissions on the files. Thankfully I can still work and finish my job today, but I will need to get this fixed.

Anytime I open something, I get an error like "Configuration file "/home/stan/.config/systemsettingsrc" not writable.
Please contact your system administrator"

Running Kubuntu 23.10 with KDE 5.27.0 and 6.5.0-14 kernel. Any advice, ideas, help?
