Packers' Watson, Alexander active vs. Cowboys; Dillon out
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson and cornerback Jaire Alexander are set to play in Sunday's wild-card game versus the Dallas Cowboys.
However, running back AJ Dillon will miss the playoff matchup with thumb and neck injuries after being designated as doubtful Friday.
Watson has been sidelined since Dec. 3 with a hamstring issue, while Alexander's status was up in the air due to shoulder and ankle ailments. Both were listed as questionable.
Alexander sustained the ankle injury in practice this week and did not practice Thursday or Friday.
Watson had 28 catches for 422 yards and five touchdowns before his injury. The second-year deep threat rejoins a young wide receiver corps that's flourished in quarterback Jordan Love's first season under center.
Rookies Jayden Reed and Dontayvion Wicks are first and third on the team in receiving yards, respectively, and sophomore Romeo Doubs is second.
With Dillon out, Patrick Taylor will back up Aaron Jones.
