Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver George Pickens believes his team was up against the Buffalo Bills and the officials in Monday's 31-17 wild-card loss.

"Refs, refs, refs. That's the only thing that's really on my mind when it's blatant," Pickens said postgame, according to Nick Farabaugh of SteelersNow.

"You're not gonna win a game when you play the refs and the Buffalo Bills. That's really what I feel like happened to us today."

With the Steelers trailing 31-17 in the fourth quarter, Pickens appeared to be held by Bills cornerback Dane Jackson on an incomplete fourth-down pass. However, the referees didn't call a penalty.

The second-year receiver was visibly frustrated after the play, with the broadcast catching him throwing his helmet on the sideline.

Pittsburgh accumulated 50 penalty yards on six flags, while Buffalo received two flags for 24 yards.

Pickens finished the game with five catches for 50 yards. He was also responsible for a lost fumble in the first quarter that led to a Bills touchdown.
