San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel didn't fracture his shoulder Saturday against the Green Bay Packers, head coach Kyle Shanahan confirmed Monday, according to The Athletic's Matt Barrows.

However, Samuel is still experiencing a lot of pain and is uncertain for Sunday's NFC Championship Game, Shanahan added.

Shanahan also said he thinks he'll have a better idea of Samuel's status Wednesday.

Samuel didn't play in the second half of the 49ers' 24-21 victory over the Packers due to the shoulder ailment. He finished the contest with 24 yards on two receptions.

The 28-year-old missed two weeks during the regular season with a shoulder injury.

Jauan Jennings, Chris Conley, and Ray-Ray McCloud could all see an increase in playing time if Samuel can't play against the Detroit Lions on Sunday.

Samuel finished third on the team in receiving this season with 892 yards, but he also had 225 yards rushing in 15 games. The South Carolina product scored 12 total touchdowns on his 97 touches.
