Chiefs-Bills tops 50M viewers to become most-watched divisional game ever
The Kansas City Chiefs-Buffalo Bills rivalry never disappoints, and the viewership numbers back that up.
The Sunday playoff matchup between the two AFC powerhouses is the most-watched divisional-round game in NFL history and the first to surpass 50 million viewers, CBS announced Tuesday.
Chiefs-Bills averaged 50.393 million viewers to break the previous divisional-round record held by the Dallas Cowboys and Green Bay Packers in 2017.
Kansas City's dramatic 27-24 victory peaked at 56.25 million viewers and was Paramount Plus' most-streamed live event ever.
The contest was the third postseason game between the reigning champion Chiefs and Bills since 2020. Kansas City won all three matchups, including an all-time overtime thriller during the 2021 season.
