The Kansas City Chiefs aren't expected to have a cornerstone of their O-line available for the AFC title game Sunday.

All-Pro left guard Joe Thuney is unlikely to face the Baltimore Ravens, according to ESPN's Adam Teicher.

Thuney, who started every game for the Chiefs this season, is dealing with a pectoral strain and didn't practice Wednesday. He sustained the injury late in Sunday's divisional-round win over the Buffalo Bills.

With Thuney likely sidelined, Kansas City presumably will rely on fifth-year veteran Nick Allegretti, who replaced Thuney versus Buffalo.

"All the guys look at (Allegretti) like he's a starter, so everybody's got confidence that he can come in and do a nice job," head coach Andy Reid recently said.

Thuney, 31, has earned two Pro Bowl nods since joining the Chiefs in 2021. Kansas City boasts arguably the NFL's best group of interior linemen with Thuney alongside center Creed Humphrey and right guard Trey Smith.
