Running Android on Linux phone possible ?

I am getting sick and tired of Android, there are bugs here and there, some basic operations worked before no longer works now, such as permission to write to external drive. When I modify a photo and save it to SD it will ask for permission, it asked to select the drive to write to and I click SD, then it said for security reason I can not do that, and ask to create or write to a folder instead, so I did, but then it said I need to select the root of the drive what the heck ! this happened on some apps not all, smarter apps will return error, dumber one simple crashes. Beside that, almost all photo gallery apps I used had 'cached action' problem, that when I delete or rename or overwrite a photo it will take long time to refresh the screen, some times the screen will flashing between old and new thumbnails, some times it said the action completed but I still can't see the photo and the screen is blank, some time it does not delete the photos so I retry, but then it deleted more photos than I asked !!! there are also some other annoyance not to mention, I just wondering, if it is possible to run Android app on a Linux phone, such as the Pinephone Pro ? since I still need many Android apps and there's no Linux alternative so I can't simply give it up, and since Android is Linux I supposed it is possible to run Android apps on a container or something right ? I am not into iPhone, its a good phone but too much limitations, I can not turn off those annoying screen transition effect like I did on Android was the very first thing it put me off.
