Baltimore Ravens rookie wide receiver Zay Flowers said he'll improve after his costly fumble during Sunday's 17-10 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC title game.

Flowers said postgame he thought he crossed the goal line before losing control of the football. However, Chiefs defensive back L'Jarius Sneed knocked the ball out of Flowers' hands before the touchdown, resulting in a touchback early in the fourth quarter with Kansas City leading 17-7.

"I'll learn from my mistakes," the first-round wideout said, according to Jamison Hensley of ESPN.

Flowers' fumble came minutes after he made a 54-yard catch to give Baltimore a much-needed offensive spark late in the game. However, he was called for taunting after the play, costing his team 15 yards.

"I was mad," Sneed said about allowing Flowers' long catch, per Aaron Ladd of KSHB 41 News.

He added, "I heard he stepped over me, so I was like, 'OK.' ... I made the play, I made the fumble."

Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson - who suffered two turnovers versus the Chiefs - had a message for Flowers after the contest.

"We're going to get it back next time," Jackson said, according to Sarah Ellison of "The Vault" podcast. "We're not worried about that. We all make mistakes. This is his first season. It's my first time in this situation. It's his first time in this situation. We're gonna bounce back."

Flowers led Baltimore in targets (108), catches (77), and receiving yards (858) in 2023. The 22nd overall pick also scored six scrimmage touchdowns.

The Ravens entered the AFC championship as favorites after finishing the regular season with the No. 1 seed.
