Jackets' Fantilli suffers skate cut to leg, won't play Tuesday
Columbus Blue Jackets forward Adam Fantilli suffered a skate cut to his left leg during his team's 4-2 loss to the Seattle Kraken on Sunday night.
The club announced Monday that Fantilli won't be available for Tuesday's clash against the Blues and that he'll be further evaluated once the Jackets return home from St. Louis.
The incident occurred in the second period when Fantilli laid a hit on Kraken forward Jared McCann. McCann's skate caught the back of Fantilli's calf, and the rookie hopped off the ice.

Fantilli saw 7:30 minutes of ice time before departing. He was ruled out for the rest of the contest with a lower-body injury.
The 19-year-old ranks fourth on the Blue Jackets with 12 goals and second with 27 points in 49 games. He also sits fourth in the rookie scoring race, trailing Marco Rossi, Brock Faber, and Connor Bedard.
