Slackware ARM Vlog - community chat
by drmozes from LinuxQuestions.org on (#6K2VA)
Hi guys
I've had some personal issues recently, so haven't been around so much; but they're being resolved, but have been hacking away on my own and with Brent going back to my original Unix and Linux roots and fixing a few things, and helping a little more with the Slackware upstream (and yes, I'll look at updating linuxdoc-tools over the next few weeks ;-) ).
It's been on my plan for over a year now to involve some of you guys in the vlog - as we did originally in season 1.
I know super tech people are certainly camera shy (we don't have to do video), and perhaps radio shy too, but if any of you want to come on the vlog (audio only is fine) and discuss why you use Slackware, please drop mozes@slackware.com a mail and we'll organise something over the next few months (it's not going to happen until at least 2-3 months).
I know some of you aren't comfortable using your own name either - so make one up. I don't need to know your real name, I'm only interested in your experience.
The only agenda behind this is to spread information about the project. I'm not an anti-systemd or anti-Linux progression guy, but I was sitting with my Dec VT320 (see the latest vlog episode -- I've got it working btw!! new episode coming soonish), and realised how much I loved Unix, and I see Slackware as the last modern connection to it.
Anyway guys, let me know.
Cheers
