AMD Hires Former Oak Ridge Director Thomas Zacharia

AMD today announced that Thomas Zacharia, former director of Oak Ridge National Laborary, has joined AMD as senior vice president of strategic technology partnerships and public policy. Zacharia spent 35 years at Oak Ridge, leaving there after the organization developed and installed the AMD-powered Frontier supercomputer, the first supercomputer to break the exascale performance barrier.
