Monahan reveals PGA Tour held talks with Kim before LIV Golf decision

Jay Monahan, the PGA Tour's commissioner, has revealed Anthony Kim rejected the option of playing his way back on to the circuit before signing with LIV Golf.
Kim, once one of the hottest young properties in the game, sensationally reappeared in competition last month after a 12-year break. He will feature as a wildcard on LIV for the remainder of this season. Speculation has surrounded whether Kim could have instead returned to the PGATour. Monahan has made plain the 38-year-old would have had to work up from lower tours.
