The Chicago Bears own the No. 1 pick in the upcoming draft, and cornerback Jaylon Johnson has a message for whoever the team selects.

"You can't bring that Hollywood stuff into the building," Johnson said on the "Up & Adams" show Wednesday. "Especially not with guys who have played this game at a high level for consecutive years in the league."

He added: "We gonna see through it ... What you did in college, the Hollywood, it's like, nah, you gotta prove yourself. That stuff doesn't matter."

USC quarterback Caleb Williams is the heavy favorite to be selected No. 1 overall by Chicago. The 22-year-old had his pro day on Wednesday, with Bears head coach Matt Eberflus and general manager Ryan Poles in attendance.

The Bears traded quarterback Justin Fields to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Saturday for a conditional 2025 sixth-round pick. Tyson Bagent and Brett Rypien are the only quarterbacks remaining on Chicago's roster.

Poles made a number of moves this offseason to help the offense, signing running back D'Andre Swift, tight end Gerald Everrett, and trading for wide receiver Keenan Allen, who was there in person for Williams' pro day.

"He's a savvy vet, a savvy route runner," Johnson said of Allen. "A guy that is really crafty, a guy that I've always been a big fan of his, considering the work that he's done in this league."

Johnson signed a four-year, $76 million extension with the Bears in early March. He secured a second-team All-Pro nomination in 2023 after totaling 10 passes defended and four interceptions.
