obs 29.1.3, websocket not built?
by garpu from LinuxQuestions.org on (#6MA2Z)
slackware-current, building obs-studio 29.1.3, with ponce's ffmpeg patches and Alien Bob's ignore_unused_submodules patch (found: http://www.slackware.com/~alien/slac...bmodules.patch), because I didn't want to build the browser. You need Alien Bob's patch because just changing ENABLE_BROWSER to "OFF" doesn't disable the submodule. His patch has the obs-websocket directory added, so it should be built, correct? (It's part of OBS since version 28.)
When I built obs tonight, websocket wasn't being built. If I'm understanding the changes, it should be built by default. (I removed the line in ponce's slackbuild about it.) I'm going off of the options listed here: https://obsproject.com/wiki/Building-OBS-Studio
Here's a pastebin of the slackbuild I was using, in case I did something stupid there: https://pastebin.com/GQwdJpU7 (Likely, because it's late.)
