iprt-VBoxWQueue & iprt-VboxTscThread active when virtualbox not running

I am using Debian 12 and Virtualbox 7.0.14 and with Virtualbox not active task manager shows Vbox processes running. When i try to kill the processes using sudo kill -9 pid they do not stop.
What do these processes do and why do they run when virtualbox is not running?
