Comtrol rocketport rackmount RS232 devices Hardware

Anyone using the old rocketport rackmount RS-232 devices such as P/N 3000178 or 3000233? I am currently using a Cyclades 16-port serial module but want to upgrade to something I can rackmount. Curious if there is a PCIe card that will work with the 3000178 or 3000233? Like maybe P/N 5002497? Or am I forced to use RocketPort ISA, PCI, or uPCI cards? Trying to avoid the newer, more expensive rackmount RS-232 devices.

There are legacy Express cards, https://downloads.comtrol.com/express-legacy/, but I don't know if they are for the above rackmount devices or for the newer rackmount devices.

And, does anyone know the difference between the 3000178 and 3000233?
