Terminal (Konsole) different color scheme for root vs regular user
by elbci from LinuxQuestions.org on (#6MWEN)
I'm on Slackware 15 stable with KDE (Xorg) and I use Konsole as terminal. I start the terminal and I get "myUserName@myPC:~$" in nice blue color on black, as I choose in Settings>Edit Current Profile>Appearance
Then I do "su -" / Password Enter and get to "root@myPC:~#" in the same color scheme.
How do I get the "root@myPC:~#" part to automatically change to another color scheme, say red, as in "you are dumb enough, be careful here" ?
Am I looking for a script (whatever that is..) or what?
Thnx in advance
PS move this thread wherever it belongs if not here; learn from the way I formulate the question of my pitiful level and be gentle accordingly.
