Need advice on best app for connection Linux/Java to QuickBooks desktop

I've posted this query on the QuickBooks Developer Community, but no responses there. I figure some LQ subscriber has probably done this and I usually get excellent and prompt answers from LQ ...
Our office is running QuickBooks 2023 Desktop with a Database Server Manager. I would like to connect to the server from Linux and preferably JAVA. I only need read access to the QB tables. Does someone have a recommendation on the right app to consider for this?
