Youtube-dl or yt-dlp Error 403 when downloading video
by linuxiq from LinuxQuestions.org on (#6NH1B)
Trying to download a video, non youtube. Rarely do I ever have problems but this site is giving me a 403 everytime I try to download.
The raw website...
https://learn.lionsroar.com/courses/...tures/54061659
The link to the m3u8 file...
https://vod-akm.play.hotmart.com/vid...5-e0efc7b5d29c
I have even tried putting the m3u8 link straight into the browser and I get access denied.
I have tried to put in the add-header Referer:https://player.hotmart.com but that hasn't given me any success either.
I have run out of ideas to try. Yes, I did see mention of --rm-cache-dir and that didn't help any either, admittedly I put that line in directly as written, not --rm-cache-(the directory where the file would be downloaded to???).
Any ideas?
Thanks,
