New HotSwaped disks not showing up anymore

OS: Linux ArchGamer2 6.9.4-arch1-1
WM: Awesomewm
DM: Lightdm
Since the last 4 to 7 weeks, donno how many, the hotswap of SSD/HDD won't work.
I have to run this (after logging in to su, sudo won't work)
Code:for arg in /sys/class/scsi_host/*/scan; do echo "- - -" > $arg; doneAfter this disks inserted or removed fixes the inserted/removed items.
Can't find any info of this at all and have been looking for weeks.
What is this?
This has worked for years until these last weeks.
