What triggers them? How often triggered is sensible? I have an ordinary cheap Silicon Power 256G that seems to be reporting too much time spent testing, a dozen or so tests over approximately 60 hours powered up:Code:SMART Extended Self-test Log Version: 1 (1 sectors)

#19 Short offline Completed without error 00% 255 -The reason I ran a long test today is because the Haswell PC was exhibiting abnormal pausing across a variety of activity, including simply launching a lightweight DE session (TDE), and simply loading TDM, while top showed trivial CPU usage whenever running, and running fstrim wasn't helpful.
