How to mount Google Photos as a drive

I am running Mint Debian edition, and I've installed Online Service, so that I can see my Google Drive on the file manager. I've many photos on Google Photos, it is very slow to navigate with the web UI, there seems no way to mount the photo drive instead of using the web UI. I read that Google removed local access to Photos, and there are alternatives some people found worked, such as using Imagenes. I installed that but it only shows a blank interface nothing else, I wonder if there's any other way to access Photos without using the web UI. The short reason I need to do that was I've many duplicated upload I want to remove, so I want to see them in thumbnails for quick search for duplicates, thanks for any comment !
