SPORTS BRIEFS: U9 North Stars heat up

MAJOR NORTH STARS LOSE TO LAKERS
The Peterborough Lakers outscored the North Stars 4-0 in the third period en route to a 15-8 victory inside the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre Saturday night. Lion's Head product Rob Hellyer did most of the damage for Peterborough with three goals and four assists in the contest. Austin Hasen netted a hat trick while Turner Evans, Thomas Hoggarth and Taite Cattoni all scored two goals. The North Stars are winless after six regular-season games and in last place in the Major Series Lacrosse league circuit (OLA Senior A).
