Kernel panic: no init system found on LFS systemd

Hi, so I'm building LFS with Systemd, and for some reason, I get a kernel panic saying, "Kernel panic: no init system found." I have tried reinstalling Systemd and rebuilding the Linux kernel with new modifications, but I always get the same issue.

What I have tried:
  • Reinstalling Systemd
  • Rebuilding the kernel
  • Verified that I made the /initrd directory (some guy said he fixed it by making that directory)
  • Verified that I have /sbin/init and /usr/lib/systemd/systemd
  • Made an initramfs image
