[SOLVED] pam packaging location "bug" report.
by timsoft from LinuxQuestions.org on (#6NZ6S)
the slackware (15.0) pam package installs pkgconfig files into /lib64/pkgconfig or /lib/pkgconfig but it should be in /usr/lib64/pkgconfig or /usr/lib/pkgconfig
either that, or it should add /lib/pkgconfig or /lib64/pkgconfig to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH shell variable via /etc/profile.d/pkgconfig.sh .
without it, programs which look for pam support via pkg-config --modversion pam
fail.
(noticed when attempting to build gtklock-3.0.0 slackbuild)
